Emotional Healing

God has four laws that bless us when we obey or set consequences in motion when we disobey. These laws work whether you believe them or not. When we transgress the laws, we automatically set in motion the consequences. When we obey the laws, we automatically set in motion the blessings God has for us.

The four laws are:

1) Honor thy father and mother, which is the first commandment with promise; that it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth. Are things going well with you in life? If not, see if you are obeying this law.

2) Judge not that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you shall be judged: and with what measure you mete, it shall be measured to you again. Matthew 7:1, 2 says that if you judge others, you will be critical. Often the very thing you judge others about is in your life. If you judge someone, then remember that you will be judged yourself.

3) Be not deceived, God is not mocked; for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to the flesh shall reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap everlasting life. Galatians 6:7, 8 states that if you sow kindness, you will reap kindness, if you sow anger, you will reap anger. If you sow love, you will reap love, if you sow hate, you will reap hate.

4) For they have sown the wind and will reap the whirlwind. Hosea 8:7a tells us that when we plant a small seed of gossip, it can turn into a big problem. It grows each time it is passed on to someone else causing hurt. Whatever you sow will increase and return to you. It is much better to sow truth and love.

Only God can release you from the negative judgments that are causing problems in your life. He is waiting to give you His blessings when you release and forgive others for the hurts in your life. Remember what Gods says in Matthew 6:15, “For if you forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” If the hurt is so deep that you feel you can not forgive, ask God to help you to be able to forgive. Then name the thing you hold against someone, repent of the sin and the problems you have allowed it to cause in your life and ask God’s forgiveness, leave it at the foot of the cross where Jesus died and shed His blood to take away our sins. This will bring God’s blessing into your life.
